Film Noir Checklist

Here’s what I have in my film noir collection so far. Some of the missing DVDs are easy enough to find; I just haven’t gotten around to buying them yet. Others aren’t so easy. I’ve been trying unsuccessfully for some time to locate a DVD copy of the 1952 film Ace in the Hole (aka The Big Carnival) starring Kirk Douglas. It’s a remarkable Billy Wilder film that is so bitter it seems etched in acid.
